From Tichenor to Treehouses

Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art is a great place to explore if you ever make the trip to Nashville.  The grounds are lovely and the mansion is such a beautiful piece of architecture!  I am a big fan and make a point to visit often, either for a workshop or for a specific exhibit.  Now through Labor Day there is a Treehouse installation that is a must-see!  At least 30 different architecture firms submitted proposals for treehouses and only 7 of the entries were chosen to be constructed in full throughout the gardens (tour here).
Over the weekend I went to Cheekwood to participate in a workshop called 'From Tichenor to Treehouses.'  Below are some photos of some of the projects we worked on (still works in progress) in the style of Tom Tichenor, Puppeteer and Nashvillian.
Upon completion of the workshop, my mind is flowing with ideas on how I could bring these techniques into my own classroom...
